My husband, Karl West and I wanted to tell you of our experience at your lovely hotel.
Karl and I were married on November 10, 2007 at Half Moon (at the Royal Pavilion). Andrea Smith was our Romance Manager and we must tell you that our experience at Half Moon was simply AMAZING!!! Please note that this was not limited to our wedding day - from the moment we began working with Andrea, she catered to our every need. As we live in the States, we were worried about not being physically present to oversee the executed details of our plans. Needless to say, Andrea put our fears to rest immediately with her commitment to our happiness. She is a true professional and made herself readily available to us via telephone and e-mail. On the night of our rehearsal dinner, as well as the day of our wedding, everything was just as we had envisioned it! I'm a bride that believes that the beauty of an event is all in the details and Andrea handled all of that for us! In addition, she managed to gather our families and wedding party (which I am sure was no easy feat!) and have them all where they needed to be prior to the ceremony. Everything ran smoothly and perfectly, thanks to her!
In addition, from the moment we arrived at Half Moon, the entire staff was so welcoming, professional and courteous. Upon arrival, our guests were greeted with the welcome gifts which we had set aside for them at the Concierge's office and she made sure to find us wherever we were (as each guest arrived at different times). We would like to also mention that Tracey Ann Jones, Jodey Samms, Devin Reid (our DJ), Reynard (at Check-In) and Herga and Ingrid (at Fern Tree Spa) all contributed to making our experience at Half Moon wonderful and memorable. We greatly appreciate all of their help in making our week and wedding day a fantastic experience for both us and our guests. We've been married for nearly two months now and our family and friends continue to rave about their Half Moon experience and tell us that ours was the best wedding they've ever attended! Thank you, Andrea and everyone at Half Moon for making our wedding celebration so magical - it was everything we dreamed of and more - and for this, we are ever grateful.

Happy New Year! Josh and I are finally home from our honeymoon and settling back into normal life again post-wedding. I just wanted to write to thank you again for all of your help in making our wedding weekend so wonderful. We had the time of our lives and can't express how appreciative we are for all of your hard work and great attention to every detail. All of our guests had an incredible time and can't stop raving about how much they loved Half Moon -- so I suspect you will get some return visitors in the years to come!
We were also particularly thrilled with PACE Band and were hoping you could pass along our thanks to them, as well, for a terrific job in keeping the party going.

Can't believe me and my family were in glorious Jamaica almost two months ago. Boy time flies. Hope you have a nice holiday with your family ....if you even got a break. I'm sure there were weddings.
I wanted to extend my thanks to you and your staff again for everything being perfect. From the first day we arrived, the hospitality the Half Moon gave us was above and beyond.
I keep hearing that our wedding was the most fun anyone had every had. From the delicious food to the DJ playing great music. My 85 year old grandmother never left the dance floor. I especially loved the cake - kudos to the chef. And let me not forget the Reverend. He was the icing on the cake. What a memorable moment.
I've finally looked thru all the pictures my family have given me on CDs, almost 900 pictures. I will definitely send you some shortly. I will never forget our wedding day nor our wonderful vacation with our family and friends. You and your team made that happen.

Everyone who attended has been talking about how much they love Half Moon and what an outstanding job Racquel did in carrying out Lisa's dream wedding plans. Every detail was perfect, and in many instances Racquel went beyond what we hoped for to create a "magical" event! Jodey was also very helpful in arranging the villa assignments. Working with these two women was a joy because of their efficiency, organization, and most of all their friendly and pleasant personalities.

When we first got engaged, we knew right away that we wanted a small, intimate beach wedding. We searched online and after reading review after review for several different resorts, we finally chose Half Moon in Jamaica. We wouldn't know for many months just how right that choice was!
We couldn't have asked for a better day. The weather was perfect – there wasn't a cloud in the sky. And what better backdrop would you ask for than the Caribbean Sea? The ceremony was amazing- our minister had such a presence about him that made our vows come alive. It was all very much like a wonderful dream. The reception was the best way to end a perfect weekend with those that we hold so dear. We danced for hours and everyone had a blast. When it was time for everyone to go home, we stayed on at Half Moon to enjoy another week of relaxation and fun. We can't wait to go back!
